Patrick Kennedy
Seminary Director
In April of 2006, Patrick Kennedy was consecrated into the priesthood in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to attending the seminary in Stuttgart, Germany, Patrick studied and worked in the field of early childhood education and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz in cultural anthropology. He has worked as a priest in the congregations in Devon, Pennsylvania and the Greater Washington, D.C., area. Then, in Chestnut Ridge, New York, he took up the roles of both seminary director and resident priest in the local congregation. In July 2019, Patrick, his family, and the entire seminary moved to the Toronto area.
Jonah Evans
Seminary Director
Jonah Evans grew up in Sacramento, California and attended the Sacramento Waldorf School through all 12 grades. Later, he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University in Sacramento. He then attended the Seminary of The Christian Community both in Chicago and Stuttgart. He was consecrated as a priest in 2008 and has worked as a community priest in Johannesburg, South Africa, Spring Valley, NY, and currently in Toronto. In 2018, he was asked to co-direct the seminary, and he has been actively doing so since the seminary moved to the Toronto area in the summer of 2019. He is married and has three lovely daughters.

Reg Down - Eurythmy
Reg Down grew up in Canada, Namibia, South Africa, and Ireland. After studying architecture for 2 years, he encountered the work of Rudolf Steiner. He attended Emerson College in Sussex, England, for a foundation year in anthroposophy and completed his eurythmy training in Nürnberg, Germany.
A father of three, he taught eurythmy in Waldorf schools in Australia, Canada, and the United States, and was a faculty member of Rudolf Steiner College, Sacramento, California. He is an author of books for children, Waldorf pedagogy, eurythmy, and color.
Regine Kurek – Art
Regine Kurek, born and educated in Germany, has resided in Canada most of her adult life. She holds diplomas in art, education, anthroposophical art therapy, and biography work and has been facilitating classes and workshops for adults for almost 40 years in North America, Europe, and recently the Far East. She has a passion for art and what she calls the “mission of art” in all fields of life.
