Ordinations May 14-15, 2022 Toronto, Canada
The altar and Sunday point to the central Christian Sacrament, the Communion. This sacrament, as all inner striving and endeavours in this spirit, contains the continuing mystery of Christ and the Sun, working into the future; that is how it seeks entry to the inner being of Christians. The resurrected Christ combines with the innermost core of human beings. Expressed as an image, and more than an image: He should be welcomed in the hearts of human beings. … Once again the physical heart is only a pointer to a hidden, central organ, in the sense that Novalis described it as the ‘sacred organ of the human being.’
