Christmas Greetings from Ukraine

Rev. Tatiana Nechytailo from Kyiv, Ukraine was at the Seminary in October 2025 and met students of the “Knowing Christ” and the “Walking with Christ” programs. Here, she sent greetings to them through Faith DiVecchio (“Walking with Christ”) with some pictures of Christmas at the church. Faith also wrote more broadly about Tatiana and the Christian Community congregation she serves in another blog entitled A Window Into Kyiv https://bit.ly/42k5fBB. In this article, Tatiana gives Seminary students some advice:

“Come to know the angel of the congregation so that you can receive the promptings of the spirit world toward what must be done.”

We are deeply grateful for the gift of her presence as she shared her powerful experiences from the heart of a war zone, reminding us of the resilience of faith and hope in the face of impossible challenges. Reports on the Christian Community in Ukraine can be found on the site of the Christian Community in Germany (https://christengemeinschaft-international.org/en/ukraine-nachrichten) with information on how to donate.
